Arête Builders was created with the goal of creating unique, beautiful houses through conscientious building practices and strict attention to detail.  We believe that a house should be both aesthetically pleasing and a highly efficient.

As a carpenter working on high end custom homes, I learned the importance of high-quality craftsmanship, from foundation to finish.  I believe that level of workmanship should come standard on all projects, not just the most expensive houses.

My projects are also conducted with an emphasis on reducing waste.  I am committed to recycling all materials possible on the jobsite, and reducing wasteful material use inside my houses.

Likewise, I take seriously my responsibility to reduce pollutants within the home as much as reasonably possible.  The air in a house should be safe to breathe, so I always use products such as low VOC paints and finishes in my building and remodeling projects.

I feel fortunate to have learned my craft with highly skilled carpenters, some of whom have been in this business for decades.  The skills I have gained, combined with my enthusiasm for the many exciting advances in the industry, allow Arête to combine traditional craftsmanship with iinnovative solutions as we build.
